FLAP Canada Annual Bird Layout

As part of FLAP Canada’s 25th year anniversary, approximately 2000 birds of over 90 species, including at risk species, will be displayed for public viewing at the Ontario Science Centre. This layout is intended to generate awareness about the issue of birds colliding with windows.
• Event will educate visitors about threats of the built environment to migratory birds, and steps they can take to prevent bird collisions
• FLAP Canada volunteers and OSC hosts will engage visitors in hands-on activities and conversations
• Presentations from FLAP Canada Executive Director, along with Canadian researchers and artists that will be using the birds on display for future work.
