Interested in learning about birds as well as all different types of biodiversity? Do you want to learn more about being a citizen scientist? Come to the 2018 Ontario BioBlitz opening event in Heber Down Conservation Area in Whitby!

We have a number of public programs available between 11am and 5pm on Saturday May 12 for our BioBlitz Base Camp Nature Festival. If you’d like to go a bit deeper and join us on a walk or at a workshop to learn more natural history and species ID skills, OR if you are a skilled biologist or naturalist looking for a fun way to share your knowledge, please register now at www.ontariobioblitz.ca.

Spend some time exploring the forests of Heber Down and enjoy its wildlife and plant communities, while hanging out at BioBlitz base camp with activities, food trucks, and the hustle and bustle of citizen scientists in action!
